Volunteer Frequently Asked Questions

In order to volunteer, please fill out a volunteer application (https://www.shelterluv.com/form/volunteer/KBCS/53-volunteer-application)and you’ll receive an email about upcoming orientations and trainings. During our busiest season (summer), please give us up to 2 weeks to respond to your applications.

To volunteer at Kitty Bungalow, you must be at least 18 years old. For kids between the ages of 12-17, you can still volunteer, but you must have an accompanying parent with you at all times.

Volunteers must commit to a shift at least once a week for a minimum of 6 months. Shifts at our charm school are typically 2.5 hours.

On volunteer shifts, please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. We also encourage you to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
