Meet Cats With Real Stories
Squirt & Fergie's Story
I adopted both of my cats through Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats—one in 2023 and another in 2025—and bringing them into my life has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
What makes their stories especially meaningful is that they came from very different beginnings. One came through the shelter system and required medical care, while the other was rescued through Kitty Bungalow's TNR program. In both cases, Kitty Bungalow saw their potential, gave them the support they needed, and ultimately helped them find a loving home.
I am incredibly grateful that this organization gave both of my cats a chance. Today they are thriving, and they have brought so much joy, companionship, and love into my life. The dedication, compassion, and hard

work of the Kitty Bungalow team truly make a difference for cats who
might otherwise be overlooked.

Any chance I get, I recommend Kitty Bungalow to anyone considering adoption. I am thankful everyday that our paths crossed.
Adopting Stevie has been a wonderful experience. She acclimated incredibly quickly and managed to win over my other cat, Jackson, within a matter of weeks, which was one of my biggest concerns. Having the foster-to-adopt option was also really helpful because it gave me time to make sure it was the right fit for everyone.
Stevie definitely has little gremlin energy, and she’s hilarious to watch and very sweet. The moment I lie down, she comes over to cuddle with me. She loves to chase—treats, toys, ice cubes, the birds on TV—and to cause some light mischief. She’s been such a good cat, and I can’t imagine my home without her now!

Cheeto and Pebble's Story
We went to the Petco adoption event with no real plan, and the volunteer was patient and never pushy at all — just happily shared stories about the cats’ personalities. We were indecisive about Cheeto that day, but reached out the next morning, got a quick reply, and picked him up from his awesome foster. The foster shared with us what Cheeto is like and also told us about his friend Pebbles (cats not bonded, so we could adopt just him). Two cats is too many, we thought.
We had such a great experience with Kitty Bungalow and Cheeto that we took Pebbles as foster to adopt… and of course ended up adopting her. KB was totally upfront about her needing time to warm up and socialize. Cats complemented each other perfectly. Two cats who get along are actually easier than one — they keep each other company, groom each other, and do goofy things that make us laugh every day!

Jewel Yam's Story
It was so easy working and communicating with Kitty Bungalow to coordinate Jewel’s (now Umi!) adoption! There were some upfront scheduling conflicts on my end for the first meet up, but KB was more than willing to accommodate and make things easier for me.
During the first meeting with Umi, shelter staff gave me plenty of time to sit patiently in the room where she was to get to know her on her own terms, play with her a bit, and see how she interacts with the other kitties which was much appreciated. The process was not rushed at all and I felt welcome to stay there as long as I needed. KB also made sure Umi and I were set up for success once we got home by providing all the supplies needed for a successful home transition.

Overall I’m so incredibly grateful to the staff and facilities at KB for providing a loving and safe home for my sweet girl. I still can’t believe it took this long for her to find her forever home! She may not be the cuddliest kitty, but she shows love and respect on her own terms which is all anyone could ask for. I truly could not wish for a cat that fits more perfectly into our lives.
