Q: Do I need to have dance experience?
A: This event is for everyone who is curious to experience mindfulness through dancing. Former dance experience is not needed, but you should fancy moving your body in some way :-).
Q: Do I have to bring a partner?
A: No. You can come with a friend, a partner, your grandma, or your stuffed animal, but you don’t need to bring anyone.
Q: Is this a partner-dance event?
A: No. This retreat is not a classical partner-dance event. During Dancefulness sessions you will dance for yourself. During workshops there will be exercises for yourself, exercises where you will connect, move, and dance with another person, and exercises including the group. Connecting with someone else is always optional. You are of course free to partner-dance, if you like.
Q: Will we be dancing 24/7?
A: You get 8 hours of sleep, apart from that… just kidding :-) we will not be dancing all the time. There will be dancing in the morning and the evening, lots of exercises include movement and dancing, but there will also be times when we talk, do breathwork, a guided seated meditation, go on walks, and whatever you like to do during the free time (like taking a dip in the pool).
Q: How does the accomodation work?
Q: What kind of food is served?
A: Our private chef will prepare three healthy meals a day for us. Vegetarian cuisine including regional products will be served. If you need a vegan or gluten-free option, or have food allergies, please let us know in the registration form. Amendments after registration are not possible.
Q: What about COVID-19?
A: We are very optimistic that the situation in July 2022 will be controlled and that the event can take place. We will of course comply with all government regulations and we encourage everyone to act responsibly and take the measures necessary to protect yourself and others (including vaccinations, tests before arrival and general hygiene).
