TNR Loan Program

TNR Works Best When We Work Together

We have limited staff and volunteer resources, so our program is designed to help community members learn to TNR and become advocates for the cats in their own neighborhoods.

We ask able-bodied community members to take an active role in trapping whenever possible. We provide education, traps, and guidance so you can continue helping cats beyond a single appointment.

Our team may be able to assist with trapping when additional support is needed, with priority given to:

  • Large-scale trapping projects

  • Locations with 10+ cats

  • Hoarding situations

  • Community members who are elderly, disabled, or unable to safely use a trap

Why TNR?

Every year, thousands of kittens are born on the streets without homes. Spaying and neutering community cats helps prevent those litters before they are born and addresses the source of feline overpopulation.TNR also gives community cats the opportunity to remain where they are while reducing reproduction and helping communities manage outdoor cat populations.

TNR isn't just about one cat. It's about changing the future of an entire community.

Keeping TNR Free Takes a Community

While TNR is free to eligible community members, it is not free for Kitty Bungalow.

Our average out-of-pocket cost is approximately $75 per cat, and those costs add up quickly when we're helping hundreds of cats each month.

Our TNR program is made possible through donations, clinic partnerships, volunteers, and community members who believe every neighborhood should have access to humane cat population solutions.

Help us Keep TNR FREE!

Your donation directly helps cover the cost of surgery, vaccines, transportation, supplies, and medical care for community cats in South LA.

Want to help but can't donate? Learning to TNR, volunteering, sharing resources, and helping your neighbors are all meaningful ways to support community cats.
